Salary to $30,000 depending on qualifications. Immediate opening for an Assistant Water Supply Superintendent, an advanced technical and administrative position at the Town of Leesburg water plant. Responsibilities include supervising activities and well operations and maintenance to ensure sufficient water quality and efficient plant operation. Requires considerable knowledge of the operating requirements and safety precautions of plant and laboratory equipment needed. Work is performed independently under general supervision of the superintendent. Requires graduation from high school and thorough experience in water treatment and production operations as well some supervisory experience. Requires a Class I Water Works Operators License or the capability to obtain within six months of employment and a valid driver's license.

PLANT OPERATOR
Starting salary to $25,000 depending on qualifications. Immediate opening for Water Treatment Plant Operator for the Leesburg Department of Utilities. Position requires a Virginia Water Works Certification along with a High School diploma and experience as a H20 treatment operator. Must be in good physical condition and have a valid operators license.
