Chester Gap carnival
The Chester Gap Carnival is scheduled for July 26-29. Friday, July 28, Jerry Williams and The Mystic Sound will be performing. Two shows are scheduled, one from 8-9 p.m. and the other from 10-11 p.m. On Saturday the 4th annual horseshoe pitch will begin at 12:30 p.m. and the crowning of the queen and the grand prize will take place Saturday night.
Class reunion
Tenth year high school reunion for the class of 1979 will be held Saturday, Aug. 12 at the Panorama Restaurant, Luray. The evening will begin at 7:30 with a social hour followed by a dinner and dance. All those planning on attending must RSVP as soon as possible. Animal Welfare League to meet
The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League will meet on Tuesday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Village Cafe.
Business Council to meet
The Sperryville Business Council will meet on Thursday, Aug. 3 at 8 p.m. at Carriage House, home of Tom and Danielle Junk. All members and interested persons are urged to attend.
