Buddy and Debbie Carter Samuels moved to Viewtown last August from Alexandria. He is a retired plumber pipe fitter. His hobby is wood-working. Mr. Segrest expressed appreciation to Buddy’s son Jeff who volunteered his services on Saturday to help with the barbeque. Jeff is in the Air Force and is on his way to Turkey.
Bob and Jamie Segrest are building a home in Rixeyville. He is a business manager with Digital. She is a registered nurse at Fauquier Hospital. They have just returned to the area following at three-year assignment in Europe.

Betty and Richard Hitt said they had a successful grand opening for R&B’s Antiques. Mary Magee won the door prize of a set of walnut bookends. R&B’s specializes in antique sales, refininshing and repair, and custom-built furniture. The shop is located on Rt 211. Traveling from Warrenton on Rt 211, turn left at Hackley’s Store onto Rt 642; go one mile; turn left onto Rt 611; to another mile to shop on the left. Use either the Twin View Acres or R&B’s entrances. The shop is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday; other times by appointment. Call 937-4070.
