One might imagine that the convergance of thousands of blue and grey clad teenagers was a reenactment of a Civil War battle in downtown Winston-Salem, NC., but in reality it was a meeting of the minds as thousands of technology students from across the country came together for the 11th annual national convention.
Three Rappahannock eighth graders were among these eager competitors scurrying around the Hyatt Winston-Salem, June 20-24. Two Rappahannock students, J. Swofford and Bryan Clark, brought home honors as top 10 finalist, besting nearly 300 national rivals.
