In presenting the budget, Dr. Gangel again stressed that because of the reduction of state funds many things that are needed are not included in the budget, and that his priority in putting the budget together was funding a six percent acrossthe-board salary increase for all employees.
Also included is $15,000 to replace the fuel oil tank at the elementary school with an above-ground storage tank, and $5,000 to prepare a bus parking area behind the bus shop because the area now being used in front of the shop will be taken for the four-laning of U.S. 211.
