Orley F. Seal
Orley Franklin Seal, 68, of Huntly, died March 18 at the Atlantic City Medical Center, Atlantic City, N.J.
Mr. Seal was bom July 5, 1921, in Stanley, the son of the late Fred Lee and Lonnie Irene Taylor Seal. He was retired after 28 years as an agent with Home Beneficial Life Insurance. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Luray Christian Church, associate member of Willis Chapel United Methodist Church in Huntly and served as Sunday school teacher, lay speaker and was a member of the official board. His first wife was the late Martha Good Seal.
Surviving are his wife, A. Evelyn Seal; one stepdaughter, Linda Mills Deal of Culpeper; one sister, Sylvia M. Parson of Luray; and two grandchildren.
The funeral was held March 21 at Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. Merlin Shorb and the Rev. Bob Hutson officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Luray.
Pallbearers were Landon Fadely, Giles M. Partlowe, Dennis S. Williams, Mark Kemp, John Brubaker and David Jenkins.
Honorary pallbearers were Aubrey North, George V. Smith Jr., Jim Rutherford, G. Millard Williams, Gardner Williams, Eddie Fox, S. Dean Hahn, Bradley Williams and Cecil Williams.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Luray Christian Church or the Willis Chapel United Methodist Church.
