for our town — economically and aesthetically. In the best interest of the future of the town, why can’t people sit down, talk it over, and come up with a proposal for the expansion that doesn’t overwhelm the town architecturally and physically yet still can bring in needed extra tax money and more visitors with money — visitors that virtually every other business in the town (and, indeed, in Rappahannock County) desperately need to stay in business?
I don’t particularly care about the various petty interpersonal catfights that are going on at the moment. I am writing because someone has to speak up and tell the individuals involved to have a fist fight somewhere else (or a duel if they’d rather) and let those of us who care about merging personal interests in the best interest of the future of our town and county deal with the problem as adults.
