must also be woven into the Inn’s fabric. Mr. O’Connell must be commended for his appeal for citizen’s participation in the Inn’s plans for expansion.
I view the Inn’s expansion as an important architectural and community planning challenge. Man’s total environment must be construed as his immediate surroundings. The Inn, the building and the garden, are just another of the images of art. The essence of art lies in its ability not only to perceive truth but to express it in significant form and space.

Most Rappahannock News readers have seen the “Call” for the County’s Republican Mass Meeting, scheduled for 8 p.m., Friday, March 23, at the Courthouse. Yet many current and potential Republicans will skip it: “After all, Senator John Warner and Representative French Slaughter apparently have no opposition for this year’s election, so why should I go9”
