Simply Aerobics conducts classes at Amissville Fire Hall from 9 to 10 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and from 5:50 to 6:50 p.m. Tuesday and Thursdays. Call Lyn at 937-4063 or Jan Zeamer, 937-5111 day and evening classes, respectively.

The Recycling Center is open at the Amissville Landfill. Separate glass into green, brown, and clear. Other items accepted are aluminum cans, lawn furniture (stripped), pots, foil, foil pie tins and trays. The landfill is closed Sundays and Wednesdays; it is opened Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Save our landfill, recycle! I know it takes discipline but we can do it together. Place newspapers in the trailer at Amissville Fire Dept, anytime. Place in paper bags or tie in bundles with natural fiber string. Everyone is welcome to participate in the choir for the Upper Piedmont Crusade with Dr. Billy Graham’s associate Dr. John Wesley White, Dr. Graham’s oldest son Franklin and other distinguished speakers, musicians and special guests. The crusade is being held nightly at 7:30 p.m. at the Culpeper High School, ending with a 3 p.m. service on Sunday, March 25.
