Increasing shortfalls in Medicare and Medicaid payments to hospitals and staggering numbers in uncompensated care provided to uninsured patients are making many hospitals’ futures uncertain. It is clear that philanthropy is more important than ever in keeping vital health care available to our community. Donors to CMH have been most generous in the past, and CMH is deeply grateful for their help in establishing and maintaining excellent medical care in our community. Donors may choose among several ways to make a gift to support the availability of health care.
