I here are good reasons tor attending: (1) An organization wishing to be effective must work at it constantly. Winning organizations work tirelessly to become more effective. Runners entering the Fodderstack Classic next mdhth have been training for months, the better ones all year! In 1991 and 1992 there will be important races with strong opposition. Become involved now, be ready when circumstances change.

(2) Many voters and potential activists are discouraged by “In a country of 250 million, what can one person do?” Remember last year’s ■ Governor’s race in Virginia? Twc voters per precinct decided it! The greatest majority is created, after all, one person, one worker, one voter at a time. Most of us complair of problems — crime, deficits, drugs, taxes — in our County, State, Country. Get involved in the political process and work to change conditions you dislike.
