was the son of the late Simon Nelson and Mary Elizabeth Butler Jenkins, natives of Rappahannock County. He was a grocery store clerk.
He is survived by a daughter, Teresa Chioffi of Dumfries; a son, Brett Jenkins of New York, N.Y.; two sisters, Audrey Grinder of Marbury, Md. and Dorothy Wilson of Fenton, Mo.; and two brothers, John Jenkins and Charles Jenkins, both of Fairfax.
A funeral was held March 21 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home with interment in the Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
Thelma
Summerfield
Mrs. Thelma Summerfield, 85, of Rixeyville, died March 18 at Fauquier Hospital.
She was a native of South Carolina.
Survivors include her husband, Elwood G. Summerfield of Rixeyville; one daughter, Mrs. Mary L. Heartley of Remington; and three grandchildren.
Private funeral services were held.
