The Qlde Towne Theatre Company has severed all connection with Washington and The Theatre at Washington, Va.
The theater group was composed of several local artists - such as Dinah Day and Howard Coon -as well as those from Warrenton, Front Royal and other areas. It was directed and produced by Frank and Sheree Kren, previously of Washington.
Leaving their Rappahannock County home behind, the Krens have relocated their family and thencompany in Manassas.
“We’d thought about leaving for about four months” before the early June move, producer, director and teacher Mrs. Kren said.
Working with her husband, Mrs. Kren conducted twice-weekly acting classes as well as acted in, produced and directed two plays in Rappahannock County. A third production allowed acting students to act before an audience.
