A bridesmaid luncheon was given May 17. Mr. and Mrs. C. Keeton Barnes hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Raddison Hotel in Hampton. The wedding reception was held at Fort Monroe Officers Club.
The couple took a wedding trip to Hawaii and reside in Blacksburg.
It's a girl!
Doug and Sissy Kitts of Stephens City announce the birth of a daughter, Marcy Mae born Aug. 1, weighing seven pounds and six ounces and was 19 inches long, at the Winchester Medical Center.
Grandparents of the infant are Maynard and Isabelle Nethers of Stephens City and Gordan and Margie Kitts of Stephenson. Greatgrandmothers are Mrs. Helen Kitts of Clearbrooke and Mrs. Mrytle Saville of White Hall.
Miss Kitts is the former Nathella “Sissy” Nethers.
Marcy Mae is the great-granddaughter of the late Robert and Fannie Nethers of Flint Hill.
