A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late James Sanford and Emily Jane Jenkins. She was a member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle at Nethers.
She is survived by three sons, Ennis Jenkins and George Jenkins, both of Sperryville and Haywood Jenkins of Fredericksburg; four daughters, Emma Jenkins and Lucille Releford, both of Castleton, Margaret Jenkins of Front Royal and Hollie Dodson of Culpeper; 45 grandchildren; 90 great-grandchildren; and 30 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by another son, Harry Jenkins.
A funeral service was held Monday, Aug. 5 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home, with interment in Sperryville cemetery. The Rev. Charles Clinedinst and Rev. Albert Kling officiated.
Pallbearers named were Wayne Yowell, Johnny Smith, Charlie Jenkins, Ennis Jenkins Jr., Bobby Jenkins and Robert Jeffries.
Norman Richards
Norman Eugene Richards Sr., of Jeffersonton, died Saturday, Aug. 3 at Fauquier Hospital.
Survivors include four children, Michael Richards of Reston, Gale Richards of Jeffersonton, Dorothea Yates of Culpeper and Katina Murray of New York; four brothers; three sisters; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at the Bethel Baptist Church in Amissville at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 8 with the Rev. Forrest Freeman of Washington officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Baptist Church cemetery in Amissville.

Heather Bryant
Heather Lynn Bryant, 3, of Catlett, died Wednesday, July 31 at her home.
She was bom April 30, 1988 in Fauquier County to Faith and Jim Bryant.
Survivors in addition to her parents include a sister, Amanda Bryant, at home; a brother, David Bryant, at home; her grandparents, Dora and Dave Gheen of Amissville; her grandmother, Flora Byrant of Herndon; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Aug. 3 at Catlett cemetery by the Rev. Ernest Gheen and Rev. McMahhon.
Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton was in charge of the arrangements.
