The Sheriffs Office recovered a vehicle on Route 622 in Gid Brown Hollow after it had been reported missing at 5:45 a.m. Aug. 3, according to Sheriff John Henry Woodward.
The 1980 Chevy Citation belonged to Wanda Fuller of U.S. 211 in Sperryville.
A warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was issued against Tony Capies of Washington, Va., said Sheriff Woodward.
• Police in Hinton, W. Va. have arrested a former resident of Flint Hill, David M. Blanchard, 37, who posted a $20,000 cash bond then disappeared two years ago after being charged with manufacturing of marijuana in Rappahannock County, according to Sheriff Woodward.
Blanchard has been charged in West Virginia with distribution of marijuana and cultivating marijuana, said Sheriff Woodward.
Police in West Virginia sent a teletype to the Rappahannock Sheriffs Office after arresting Blanchard on Saturday, Aug. 3.
