James Good
James William “Jim” Good, 82, of Winchester, died Wednesday, July 31 at his home.
The funeral was conducted Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Jones Funeral Home in Winchester by Dr. Ewart H. Wyle Jr. Burial was in Walnut Springs Cemetery in Shenandoah County.
Mr. Good was bom June 1, 1909 in Capon Bridge, W.Va., the son of the late Hunter L. and Dora E. Sirbaugh Good. He was retired as a meat cutter and butcher at Seabright’s Market.
Surviving are his wife, Daisy Elizabeth Hodson Good; four daughters, Loma McIntyre of Winchester, Deloris Claycomb of Stephenson, Sarah Rodgers of Amissville and Susan Good of Winchester; two sons, Donald Good of Columbus, Ohio and James H. Good of Frankfort, Ind.; a sister, Jesse Smith of Hagerstown, Md.; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were William McIntyre, John McIntyre, Henry Rodgers, Stewart Murr, James Murr and Kent Good.

Claude Foster
Claude Ashton Foster, 62, of Flint Hill, died Saturday, Aug. 3 in his home.
The funeral was conducted Tuesday, Aug. 6 at the Flint Hill United Methodist Church by the Rev. Merlin Shorb. Burial was in the Flint Hill cemetery.
Mr. Foster was bom Nov. 13, 1928, in Flint Hill, the son of Herbert and Minnie Winch Foster of Flint Hill. He was a member of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church and the Front Royal Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 829. He was the husband of Helen DeHaven Foster.
