A special pat on the back is
in order for the Rappahannock 4-H’ers who competed in last week’s Culpeper Area Farm Show. C.G. Thornhill, a veteran of the show ring, won the Grand Champion Pen of Three Market Hog trophy with his home raised Hampshires. Following in their older brother’s footsteps, David and Melanie Thornhill each brought home their share of 2nd and 3rd place ribbons in the market hog competition.
The Bloodmobile will be at the Trinity Episcopal Church Parish Hall on August 18 from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Anyone from 18 to 65 is urged to contribute. If the quota is not reached this year the Bloodmobile will not return.
