daughter of Bobby and Connie Baldwin Smoot. Amanda, at nine months of age, descends from Thomas Booten Dwyer and from Mary Elizabeth Dwyer Baldwin.

The persons with the most family members in attendance was Lorene Cornell Dwyer, daughter of Mrs. Ida Cornell. She had fourteen family members present. Incidently, Lorene and her late husband, Thomas Jackson Dwyer were parents of twelve children.

The person coming the longest distance was Jean Dwyer of Spruce Creek, Pa. Jean is the daughter of Magdalene Bowen Dwyer of Sperryville.

Emcee for the program was Joseph Hawkins of Brightwood.

Introduction was given by Wayne Baldwin of Leon, Madison County.

Family photos and videos were done by Donnie Johnson and David Roberts.

Ann Dwyer of Culpeper, daughter of the late David M. and Nina H. Bowen Dwyer gave the blessing before the luncheon. Gracie Baldwin Caliandro led those who wanted to participate in hymn singing, doing a beautiful job on her guitar.

The whole event was organized by Daniel and Sally Dwyer Keyser, Joe and Ruby Jenkins Hawkins, Kenneth Shade and Wayne Baldwin.

Another reunion is planned for next year around the same time. The committee selected to handle arrangements for next year w ill be the same folks listed above plus others who desire to help.

Displays of a family tree and old photos were available for scrutinizing. Pedigree charts and family group charts were filled out and compared.

Plans are in the making for a trip to the Dwyer cemetery on Piney Ridge in Shenandoah National Park sometime this fall. Anyone wishing to join that group needs to get in touch with Kenneth Shade for further information.
