James Dawson Jr.
James Lyle Dawson Jr., 54, of Linden, died Saturday, Aug. 3 at his residence.
The funeral was conducted Monday, Aug. 5 at the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Tommy Winstead. Burial was in Linden cemetery.
Mr. Dawson was born March 17, 1937, at Fauquier County, the son of the late James Lyle and Edith Mauck Dawson Sr.
Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie L. Crouch of Manassas; two sons, William W. Dawson of Amissville and James Lyle Dawson III of Sterling Park; a sister, Joyce Fletcher of Linden; two brothers, Russell H. Dawson of Bristow and Thomas J. Dawson of Conway, S.C.; and three grandsons.
Pallbearers were Russell Rector, Brad Fletcher, James Fletcher, Bobby Fletcher, Wade Carter and Allen Carter.
