The Rappahannock Historical Society held their annual picnic and business meeting Friday night at the home of Uli and Lucy Ann Maeyer. Approximately 50 people attended. Mrs. Cathy Knuepfer of Washington is president of the society and Capt. Howard Holschuh gave a talk on the history of the Maeyer’s property.

Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor visited with Mr. and Mrs. Doug Kitts and daughter Marcy at Stephens City on Saturday. They also visited Debbie Dennis at Huntly and her houseguests Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Dennis of Jackson, S.C.
