Mr. Carson Lillard returned to his home on Saturday from Warren Memorial Hospital after being a patient there for a week.
A family cookout was held on Saturday at the home of Allen Vest.
The Flint Hill Volunteer firemen’s annual carnival was a success and a special thanks to everyone who supported them in this event. The weather was good, food was great, rides a thrill and everyone enjoyed themselves. So thanks again until next year.

Choir practice
in Orange
The Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist youth department choir will hold practice at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 12 at Nazareth Baptist church in Orange, under the direction of Joseph Moore. All choir members and new choir members are asked to be present. The annual youth day will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at Mt. Calvary Nason church in Orange. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m.
