Another change this school year is in delivery of bi-monthly PTO newsletters. Newsletters will be mailed this year instead of being sent via children from school. Parents and teachers need to sign-up for the newsletter delivery on fee day.
“One difficult thing in the past was getting people to attend every meeting,” he said, adding this year the new schedule calls for two family-type meetings at Rappahannock County Park in the form of a picni^ with guest speakers from the schools and the county government agencies and games for the children.
‘There will be one in the fall and one in the spring,” he said, adding the first conference is Saturday, Oct. 5.
