School Board changes meeting The School Board meeting scheduled for the second week in August has been rescheduled for 8 p.m. Aug. 20 at Rappahannock High.
Jenkins reunion set The annual reunion of the family of the late Alfred and Catherine Gearing Jenkins will be held Sunday, Aug. 11 at Rappahannock Park on U.S. 211, Washington. All friends and relatives are urged to attend. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.
Youth summer classes The Rappahannock Extension Office will be conducting three 4-H home economics workshops for youth ages 9-13 this summer. Programs scheduled for this summer include: bread baking, 9 a.m.-noon, Aug. 13, $1 fee; supersitter, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Aug. 15, $1 fee and food for fun, 9:30 a.m.-noon, Aug. 26-27, $2 fee.
