The flow meter at the Sperryville sewer plant is still malfunctioning. It seems to be affected by the cold, and has been repaired, but still does not appear to be working accurately, member Charles K. “Pete” Estes told members of the Water and Sewer Authority last Thursday.
Members authorized Mr. Estes to order a new flow meter and have it installed, if he feels that is the best solution. The cost for this will be $1600 and the flow meter will come with a warranty.
