Dolly White Dolly B. White, 68, of Winchester, died Friday, Nov. 5 at her residence.

The funeral was conducted Monday, Nov. 8 at the Jones Funeral Home in Winchester by the Rev. Joe Swack. Burial was in Shenandoah Memorial Park. Mrs. White was born Aug. 27, 1925, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late William Hezikiah and Elizabeth Stella Jenkins Burke. She retired in 1978 as executive director of the United Fund and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a charter member of the Women of Moose 1367 and was the wife of the late Harry B. White Sr. Surviving are one son, Harry B. “Buddy” White Jr. of Winchester; one daughter, Patricia Ann Clark of Winchester; one brother, Raymond Burke of Winchester and one granddaughter.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Paul, Dave Monroe, Roger Holliday, Michael Mayhew, Eugene Laird, Bill Horn, Bill Clark, Rickie Meadows; Richard Ergle and Rick Swann. A memorial service was conducted Sunday, Nov. 7 at the funeral home by the Women of the Moose.
