Agnes Pullen
Mrs. Agnes Virginia Pullen, 88, of Culpeper died on Saturday, Nov. 6 at her residence.
She was bom on Sept. 27, 1905, in Browntown, the daughter of Annie and James Henry Clatterbuck.
She was a member of Thornton Gap Primitive Baptist Church in Sperryville.
She was the widow of Clarence M. Pullen.
Mrs. Pullen is survived by two sons, Ellis Pullen Sr. of Columbia, S.C. and Ralph Pullen of Culpeper and a daughter, Mrs. Grace Hawkins of Culpeper.
She is also survived by five brothers, Guy Clatterbuck of Front Royal, Nelson Clatterbuck of Penbrooke, Willie Clatterbuck, Calvin Clatterbuck, and Arthur Clatterbuck, all of Front Royal, and two sister, Mrs. Lillie Baldwin of Culpeper and Mrs. Mary Warren of Front Royal.
Additional survivors include 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Pullen was preceded in death by a daughter, Irene Clark and a son, Leonard Pullen.
Funeral services were held at Found & Sons Chapel on Tuesday, Nov. 9 with Elder Elmer Skeen and the Rev. John Miller officiating.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were R.C. Pullen, Donnie Hawkins, John Clark Jr., Ellis Pullen Jr., Eric Pullen and Larry Pullen.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Found & Sons Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
