Programs Continued At Library

Come and participate in The Rappahannock County Library’s month long celebration of Children’s Book Week. Adults and children are inivted to come to the library and add their handprints to the bulletin board to show that they will join children everywhere in ‘‘Reaching for the world” through books. The library’s preschool story hour will continued at 10:30 a.m. every Tuesday through November. The next program will be presented by Wendy Sonnett. Silversmith at Trading Post

Mary Lou White will be at the Trading Post from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 13 and 14.

Mary Lou White, a Navajo silversmith, will be bringing a selection of jewelry in both traditional and liquid silver designs. Along with her own pices, she will also have arts and crafts made by the Navajo people from Arizona.

The Trading Post is located on U.S. 211 west of Washington.

Crafters Sought

Crafters are sought for Christkindle Mart Dec. 4 and 5 for Washington’s Colonial Christmas Celebration. Handmade items, Christmas ornaments, quality gifts and food booths are needed. Call 675-1113 and reserve a space.

Bake and Craft Sale

The Amissville Full Gospel Church will be holding a bake sale and a few holiday crafts from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20 at the Giant Food Store in Warrenton.

Craft Festival

St. Luke’s Lutheran School is sponsoring a craft festival from 2 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4 at the school. To rent a table call Peggy Brown at 825-3091 after 6 p.m.
