Business Council To Meet The Sperryville Business Council will meet at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14 at Sperryville Emporium. All members are urged to attend. Plans for the Blue Ridge Christmas scheduled for Nov. 26-28 will be discussed.
Buffet Breakfast The Washington Volunteer Fire Department will hold an all-youcan-eat breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20. Breakfast items consist of sausage, bacon, homemade biscuits, gravy, French toast, eggs, pancakes, hash browns, fried apples, cereal, milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice. Breakfast prices are $3 for children and $5 for adults. The next breakfast will be held Dec. 18 and a Christmas dinner will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Dec. 4.
Booster Club To Meet The Rappahannock Athletic Booster Club will be meeting at Rappahannock County High School at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
Movie At Theatre “Heart and Souls” is the movie at the Theatre in Washington at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14. A terrific comedy about four souls who come back to finish a portion of their lives through the body of a somewhat reluctant and funny character!
Support Group Social The Blue Ridge Head Injury Support Group will meet and have a social from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13 in the parish hall of Trinity Episcopal Church. For directions, information, transportation or support please call Pat Salmon, 675-3137 after 6:30 p.m.
Walk-in Clinics The Rappahannock County Health Department is expanding it's walk-in clinics for the following services: Routine Childhood Immunizations, HIV anitbody testing and Blood Pressure screening which are offered free of charge. Historical Meeting The Historical Society will be holding a meeting at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14 at the Rappahannock Library. The guest speaker will be Ann L.B. Miller, a Research Scientist with VDOT. She will be speaking on ‘The Most Convenient Ways,” early road building in the Virginia Piedmont. Everyone is invited. A discussion will follow with refreshment.
4-H Achievement Night Rappahannock 4-H Clubs will hold their 4-H Achievement Night at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12 at Rappahannock County Elementary School. A covered-dish dinner for 4-H’ers and their families will begin at 6:30 followed by an awards ceremony for the 192-93 4-H year that just ended. The 4-H delegates to Japan will also present a slide program on the '93 4-H LABO Exchange Program. All 4-H members, families, friends and community citizens interested in 4-H are invited to attend.
