Army Pvt. 2, Stephen Carpenter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Montie Carpenter of Reva route has completed basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C. which included instruction in drill and ceremonies weapons, Army history and traditions. He graduated from Culpeper High school in June 1993.
