The RCHS volleyball teams have not had a very successful season, but “they are as positive as they can be,” said Coach Paratore. “We Live been doing everything we can to try and get the game to click. There are strategies to putting kids in different positions, and we have been trying that,” he added.
The volleyball teams have had only five practices since the Christmas vacation, and the Coach Paratore believes that the teams they have been playing have had more practice than his team. They have played five games in the last week, and have not been victorious in any.
“Win or lose, a team needs support. It really bothers me when another team comes to our school to play, and they have more supporters watching the game than we do,” said Coach Paratore. It would make the players feel better if more people showed up for the home games.
The last home game will be held Wednesday Feb. 9, against Manassas Park. That will also be parents’ night. The last game of the volleyball season will be at Manassas Park on Thursday night.
