Spaghetti Dinner The RCHS Junior Class will sponsor a spaghetti dinner in conjunction with the Parent-Teacher conference on Feb. 10. Dinner will be served at the high school from 6-7 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12.

Heart Fair Planned The Rappahannock County Health Department is sponsoring the fourth annual Heart Fair on Valentine’s Day, Monday, Feb. 14 during the hours 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Free blood glucose screenings and blood pressure checks will be offered as well as information on how to reduce your risk for heart disease. Blood cholesterol screening will be offered for a $6 fee. _ Th® Rappahannock Extension homemakers will be offering an exhibit on new food labeling laws and how to interpret food labels. Dance at Amissville The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26 with the band Pure County featuring Steve Dennis, Larry and Barry Jolliffee. For reservations call Sheila Scott at 937-4357.

Committee To Meet The Rappahannock County Library Peraonel Committee meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at the library.

Buffet Breakfast Planned A buffet breakfast will be held at Washington Volunteer fire hall from 7-11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19. The all-you-can-eat breakfast will include sausage, bacon, homemade biscuits, gravy, French toast, eggs, pancakes, hash browns, fried apples, cereal, milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice. All proceeds will benefit the Washington Volunteer Fire Department. Prices are $5 for adults and $3 for children. Other breakfast dates include March 19 and April 2 which will feature an Easter egg hunt with the Easter buddy. i
