Dinner with Boris
Boris is one of the world’s leading experts in building powerful semiconductors used in radars. Boris has visited the U.S. on several occasions where his knowledge is sought after.
He voted for moderate reformist candidate, Yavlinsky.
“I was not surprised Zhirinovsky won so much support. He was constantly on TV; he was well financed. I don’t know by whom. He is a very clever demagogue. Everything he does is intemtional, and he understands people’s grievances very well.
“He has two faces-one for the masses and one for other situations. Zhirinovsky was one of the participants in the meetings aimed at preparing the new constitution. People I know say he is very smart and made many good suggestions. Zhirinovsky makes sense on certain issues. He is right to be concerned about the fate of Russians in the republics. We must do something.”
