Board members expect to adopt a budget at the February meeting. They said they hope they will know about state finding by then, but board member and County Administrator John McCarthy noted that the state budget probably will not be approved until March.
Frank Warner presented the board with a wish list drafted by the building and grounds committee that began with putting black top on the driveway and parking lot.
“We need ttf be thinking how to maintain the road,” Chairman William Young said. “It seems to be unfixable.” ,
Mr. Warner also recommended that the walkway to the basement be paved, and that the board consider arranging for more regular building and grounds care.
He said the committee also recommended the board consider installing a two-line telephone system with an intercom.
