Moffett Mills

Moffett George Mills, 86, of Warrenton died Feb. 1 at the Fauquier Hospital.

Wt. Mills was bom Sept. 4,1907, in Viewtown son of the late Bushrod and Lessie Doffermyer Mills.

He worked in service stations in his early life owning and operating his own station in Warrenton from 1953 and retiring in 1971. He then worked as a courier for the Fauquier National Bank.

He was a member of the Warrenton United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lavinia R. Mills; two daughters, Peggy M. Hawkins of Sarasota, Fla. and Cheryl M. Palmer of Warrenton; one grandson, Stuart M. Palmer of Richmond and three nephews.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Warrenton United Methodist Church with the Rev. D. Michael Houff officiating.

Interment was in the Warrenton Cememtery. ,<

Claudia Dodson Jenkins, 69, of Woodville died Feb. 4 at her residence.

She was bom in Rappahannock on June 10,1024, the daughter of the late John M. Dodson and the late Alberta Dodson Hawkins.

She was a housewife and a member of the Five Forks Baptist Church.
