Office Hours Extended

A The Commissioner of Revenue’s Office will have extended hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Friday and i Monday to assist taxpayers with state income tax returns which are due by May 2 or to provide information.

Also a record of personal property must be filed with this office by May 2. This may be done in person, by mail or by phone. Call 675-3513 for further information.

Voting

Polls for the Town Council election will be open from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. next Tuesday at the Washington Fire Hall.

Also the registrar’s, office, in new quarters on the side of the Commissioner of Revenue office is open so people can * register to vote in upcoming primaries or for absentee balloting in the Town Council election from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. The office will also be open Saturday, April 30. Call 675-3739 for additional information.
