To My Friends and Supporters
I want to express my appreciation and gratitude for the overwhelming support, in the form of personal comments, telephone calls, and notes, I have received during the past weelc. It has certainly reinforced my commitment, in whatever measure I am able, to repay the kindness and community spirit that has made living in the Town of Washington my first real home in this country. I offered by candidacy for Treasurer of the Town of Washington in the spirit of public service, citing my experience as a long time volunteer worker in Town Government. Despite the events of this past week, my resolve to serve and belief in the democratic process — as the voice of all the people — remains unshaken. I trust your confidence in my capability to serve as Town Treasurer will be reflected in the votes cast in the Town Election on Tuesday, May 3.
