County, he was bom on Jan. 10, 1936, to his father, Edward C. Estes and the late Mabel Blackwell.
Mr. Estes worked for James Buel Excavating in Woodbridge.
Besides his father, Mr. Estes is survived by his wife, Shirley Estes of Manassas and three daughters, Barbara Eustis of Midland, Carol Estes and Kimberly Estes, both of Manassas.
He is also survived by three sister, Anne Clater, Kitty Cannon and Willie Cloud, all of Castleton and two brothers, Marshall “Buck” Estes of Pleasant Hills, La. and Adolf Estes of Castleton.
Additional survivors include three grandchildren, Jonathan Eustis, Biyan Plummer and Christopher Eustis.
He was preceded in death by two sons, John E. Estes, Jr. and Donald Estes and one sister, Dot Mooney, l A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27 at Found & Sons Chapel with the Rev. Charles Shifflett officiating.
Interment will follow in FsSrview Cemetery.
Pallbearers named are Glen Gibbs, Walter Stuart, Steve Buel, Jimmy Buel, Ricky Abel and Walter Cross.
