Beekeepers To Meet

The Northern Piedmont Beekeepers Association will hold its May meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Thrusday, May 5 at the Second National Bank Building, Old Dominion Shopping Center, on Route 29, just north of Culpeper. The program for the evening will include management for honey productions, care of the hive through the summer; and tips on honey removal and extracting. All are welcome: prospective beekeepers, new beekeepers and experienced beekeepers. For further information contact Ann Harman at 364-4660. (

Flint Hill Fun Day Planned

The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad will sponsor a day of fun activities for the entire community Saturday, April 30. Planned activities for the day include a Road Apple Jamboree with a grand prize of $1,000; craft fair; flea market; horseshoe tournament, pony rides; barbecue chicken and lots of other food items. Homemakers To Meet

The Amissville Homemakers will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 2 at Amiss ville Baptist. A program on “Cancer Protection from the Sun” will be presented.
