The county Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend against a special exception for a boundary adjustment that would , hlave increased the number of noncohforming lots. ' Gary Meyer had reqested permission to change the boundary between two lots he and his wife own hear Castleton. The larger of the two lots, both in an agriculture zone, - would have been increased to nearly -10 acres, while the smaller would have been decreased to under two acres, the minimum lot size.
In 1990 County Administrator John McCarthy approved a boundary adjustment for Mr. Meyer that switched about one acre from another lot belonging to Mr. Meyer’s mother-in-law to the current smaller lot. Now Mr. Meyer wished to add that acre to his larger lot.
The change would not have affected the density allowed, since all three lots are in an area zoned for 25acre density.
