High school junior Shannon Eastham has been chosen to attend the Governor’s School for the Gifted this summer. She will be studying science at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg from June 26 , to July 23.
Shannon said she was interested in studying biology or geology or perhaps chemistry. “I’ll get to see different things,” she said. “I’m particularly looking forward to field labs.”
