The fourth annual Montpelier Wine Festival takes place on the grounds of Montpelier — James Madison’s life-long home - on Mother’s Day Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8. The fun begins at 11 a.m. both days and continues until 7 p.m. on Saturday and 6 p.m. on Sunday.

/ Montpelier encompasses 2,700 acres of woodland and pastures amid the lush landscape of the Piedmont region and within clear view of the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains — a picture-perfect backdrop for savoring award-winning wines from seven of Virginia finest wineries: Autumn Hill/Blue Ridge Winery, Barboursville Vineyards, Burnley Vineyards, Dominion Wine Cellars, Prince Michel Vineyards, Rapidan River Vineyards and the Williamsburg Winery.
