Happy belated birthday wishes to Mrs. Anna Fincham, who celebrated her 77th birthday on Saturday, April 23. She was in town Saturday visiting with her nieces and nephews and had lunch at the Washington Baptist Church Spring Event. Church members and friends were delighted to visit with her. Mrs. Fincham is residing at Countrside Rest Home, Star Route 3, Box 30M, Pratts, Va, 22713.

The Washington Baptist Church is glad to report that they had a very successful day on Saturday at their Spring Event and to thank everyone for donations of food and other items.

Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz and a friend had dinner at Skyland Restaurant on Skyline Drive on Saturday.

Mrs. Marjorie Atkins was a Monday visitor of Mrs. Frances Eubank.

On Friday, April 22 David Andrew Burke went on a field trip with his third grade class to Pope’s Creek below Fredericksburg where George Washington was bom. Mrs. Beverly Burke, Andrew’s mother, joined them. Everyone enjoyed and all had a good day.

Ms. Beverly Burke and Andrew joined Ms. Lois Settle of Amissville, Mrs. Mae Johnson of Maryland, Mrs. Anna Fincham, Mr. and Mrs. James Carroll Racer Jr. and Mrs. Mary Woodward, all of Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Racer and Mrs. Raster’s granddaughter, Vicki, of Front Royal at Country Cookin in Warrenton on Saturday evening, April 23 in celebration of Mrs. Anna Fincham’s birthday.

Sunday visitors of Mrs. Frances Eubank and bob Eubank were Mrs. Sandra Hitt of Boston and Mike Hudson.

Saturday Brownie Troop 2021 of the Virginia Skyline Girl Scout Council went roller Skating at Mac’s Roller Rink near Front Royal with Troop Leader Ginger Estes and assistant Patsy Baker.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Simmons spent Friday until Sunday in Charlotte, N.C. attending school at Ace Mideaster Warehouse.

Sunday Mrs. Ruth Clark and granddaughter Miss Amanda Brown visited Mr. and Mrs. Tim Falls, Samantha and Robert in Woodville and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Frazier and fmaily in Castleton and had dinner in Culpeper.
