She was a native of Rappahannock County.
She was a homemaker. ? Survivors include her husband, John Garnett Hunter Sr.; two sons, Robert L. Hunter and John G. Hunter Jr., all of Culpeper, three sisters; two daughters-in-law, Susie B. Hunter and Margie L. Hunter and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the W.C. Thompson Funeral Home in Culpeper on Monday, April 25 with the Rev. Hugh Wilson of Culpeper officiating.
Interment was in the family section of Shiloh Cemetery in Woodville.
