Mr. Massie suggested the work begin by asking various county organizations to analyze the impact on their areas of interest and report back to the Planning Commission by August. The planners agreed to con- , suit RLEP, PEC, the Farm Bureau and Farmers Association, the B & B Guild, the Washington and Sperryville business councils, the Water and Sewer Authority, the Association of Realtors, the county historical society, the School Board, Volunteer Fire & Rescue Associetion, the Sheriff and VDOT.
“I’m glad you’re willing to look at the Comprehensive Plan,” Dr. Krebser said.
Mr. McCarthy said, “What we’re looking at is not so much a change of pressure, just more of the same kind of pressure we’re already getting, people wanting to build 8,000 square-foot trophy homes.”
“I'll let you all see it when I’m finished,” Dr. Krebser said, referring to the new house he is building in the Huntly area.
