Mrs. Mary Elva Suter, 69, of Culpeper, died on Friday, April 22 at Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church.
She was born in Remington on Dec. 29,1924, daughter of Edith M. White and Marion J. Phillips. ,
She was a member of the Amiss ville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Paul E. Suter; a son, Edward L. Flock; two daughters, Lou /Ann Alther and Sharon Bywaters, all of Culpeper; one brother, Franklin Williams of Amiss ville; three sisters, '‘Carol Hackley of Amissville, Virginia Bland of Raleigh, N.C. and Elinor White of Durham, N.C. and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Marion A. Phillips.
Funeral services were held on Monday, April 25 at Moser Funeral Home with the Rev. Nancy B. White officiating.
Interment was in Amissville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Oliver, Wallace Stover, Frank Williams Jr., Carlton Davis, Edward Hackley and Brian Flock.
