Mr. Zumwalt said he was concerned about the confidentiality of town records, since various records have been kept in different people’s homes and computers. Town Attorney Frank Reynolds was not present at the meeting, but Mr. Zumwalt said he wanted Mr. Reynolds to give the council a ruling on confidentiality regarding town records.
Looking at the treasurer’s report of accounts payable, Mr. Lynch remarked that over 60 percent of the fire department budget had already been spent. He also said he thought that payroll should be included on the list of bills to be paid for members of the council to approve.
