Harry Morris
Harry Alexander Morris, 79, of Castleton, died Sept. 16 at Warrenton Overlook Care in Warrenton.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 5,1915.
Mr. Morris was an architect.
He is survived by one son, Hank Morris of Centreville; one daughter, Maggi Pearcy of Castleton; one sister, Jean Williams of Mankato, MN and one grandson, Eston Alexander Davis of Castleton.
Funeral services will be private.
Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton is in charge of the arrangements.
W.B. Remington
William B. Remington, 76, of Flint Hill died of leukemia on Sept. 17.
He was born May 2, 1918, in Rochester, NY, the son of William and Dorothy Shields Cross. He was the grandson of the late Judge and Mrs. Harvey F. Remington and Mr. and Mrs. Frederick H. Cross, all of Rochester.
Mr. Remington was a Senior Vice President and Director for the St. Louis based firm of Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum (HOK), the nation’s largest architectural organization, which he served from 1971 to 1992. Prior to his association with HOK, he was associated with a number of professional publications, principally, the Architectural Forum of which he was the advertising manager.
Mr. Remington was a member of the Public Relations Societies of New York and America, the Wings Club of New York, and the University Clubs of Chicago, New York and Washington. He was also a member of the Foundation Board of Lord Fairfax Community College, a member of the International Board of the Frederic Remington Art Museum, Ogdensburg, NY, and a member of the New York Chapter of the Society of the Cincinnati.
His first wife, Natalie May, of Franklin Lakes, NJ, predeceased him.
He is survived by his wife, Isabelle, who he married in 1988 in Hume.
