Church and Slate Mills Baptist Church are taking part in the World Mission Conference this week. At Mt. Lebanon, John Enos Missionary to Gambia, David Harris, mission Pastor from New York, Tami Ruckman, director from Georgia, Hugh McKinley from Zinbabew and Linda Boswell from Lima, Peru will be speaking during the time of Sept. 1825.
Different missioniares will be speaking throughout the period at Slate Mills also and the public is invited to any or all services.

Woodville Baptist

Sunday, Sept. 25 will be a “special” day in the life of the 142 year old Woodville Baptist Church. It will be “Homecoming Day,” a day when every member should make a diligent effort to be present.
It will be a “special” day because it will be a day in which to worship the Lord. It will be a “special” day at Woodville because the Rev. Lanny Horton will be preaching. Rev. Horton is Director of Missions for the Shiloh Baptist Association.
It will be a “special” day because the “Sea Walkers Quartet” from Fredericksburg will be singing at the 11 a.m. service and also at 2 p.m.
It will be a “special” day because there will be a professional photographer taking a picture of'&ll in attendance and then a separate picture of all members in attendance. It will be a “special” day because there will be a covered dish meal immediately following the 11 o’clock service. Everyone is invited to remain for the meal. Your presence will make the day all the more “special.” Please plan to attend!
Sunday School for all ages is at 10 a.m., the main service is at 11 a.m. the meal is at noon and then the concert at 2 p.m.
Please make it “special” on your calendar. Mark the 25th as a day set aside to visit and worship and fellowship with the folks at Woodville Baptist Church. Underline it in red. Make is as “special” as you possibly can. Every one of God’s children is “special” to Him as well as to us. We hope that we can be “special” to you. What a wonderful way to begin a relationship like that!
Come rain or come shine it will be a “special” day for sure. A nursery will be provided for children from birth through five years of age.
