Judd Weakley
Judd Philip Weakley, 85, of Culpeper died Friday, Sept. 16 at his residence.
He was born in Rappahannock County on Dec. 27, 1908, the son of the late John Weakley and the late Bertha Dodson. /
Mr. Weakley was retired from Arlington County Schools.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Weakley; two sons, Jimmy Weakley and his wife, Sadie of Spotsylvania, Roy Weakley of Reva; three daughters, Frances Payne and her husband, Donald of Culpeper, Barbara Anderson and her husband, Thomas of Castleton and Ruby Pullen of Front Royal:
Also surviving are two brothers, Johnnie Weakley of Warrenton and William Weakley of Culpeper; four sisters, Roberta Smith and Lizzie Compton, both of Castleton, Mary Mitchell of Warrenton and Ada Laignel of Michigan; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by one daughter, Mary Ann Weakley and one grandson.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Sept. 19 at Geest Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper with the Rev. Lindsey Savage officiating.
Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
Pallbearers were Mike Weakley, Timmy Jenish, Roger Lam, Richard Comptpn, Richard Whorton, Bill Laignel, Sr., Bill Laignel, II and Allen Tolbert.
